We have just built the first Porsche Boxster rally car which is now being used with
great success, the car uses the standard boxster bodyshell and hardtop.
The car uses a 911 engine which is fitted with our own 6 throttle body injection system and
DTL management unit.
The suspension uses the standard Boxster geometry, But is all fabricated in steel to give durability required for rallying. The fabricated steel parts weigh less than the original aliminium components.
Proflex have designed and supplied adjustable damper units for the car which incorporate roller sliders and give an extra 50mms of travel.

"The bodyshell and all the standard Porsche parts have been supplied by Prestige Salvage of Leeds and i am very grateful for the technical information and help I have received from Strasse, Porsche specialists in Leeds.

The Porsche Boxster rally car has now been used for 3 years on gravel and tarmac events and in this time we have completed 21 events without any problems and the car has been totally reliable mechanically. The car is currently being prepared for the 2009 season. Please see attached photo's of the car in competition."
